Job summary

CPR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the assurance documentation process for a major High Speed rail infrastructure project in the UK. You will ensure the control and accessibility of a vast document set, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to deliver fit-for-purpose records.

The role requires a track record in project and contract management on large infrastructure schemes, with advanced knowledge of risk, scheduling, and NEC3 contract principles.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full project lifecycle is essential.
• Strong track record in project and contract management, ideally on large civil or infrastructure schemes.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions to move things forward.
• APM-aligned project management knowledge at advanced level is expected.
• A degree in project management, engineering, commercial management or equivalent experience forms the baseline qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assurance documentation process for a major section of the programme.
• Identify current process gaps, lead improvements, and coordinate across internal teams and supply-chain partners.
• Oversee interfaces with third parties who have an interest in the assurance record, including future operators.
• Oversee NEC3 contract management obligations and proactively manage risk.
• Maintain autonomous decision-making authority and accountability for outcomes.
