Job summary

AAA Global is seeking a Senior Systematic Power Trader to found and lead a trading pod across European or US power markets. You will own strategy, risk, and the team-building process, with autonomy and substantial capital support to scale your edge.

You should bring 7+ years of independent trading in power, demonstrated P&L, and strong quantitative and programming skills, including Python, to drive alpha and risk controls for the firm.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience trading European or US power markets with a track record of managing a book independently.
• Audited or verifiable P&L from systematic or quantitatively driven power strategies with consistent performance.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or building teams, or ability to hire and manage a pod.
• Deep understanding of power market fundamentals, market microstructure, and quantitative modelling.
• Existing strategy or differentiated approach that can be scaled with institutional capital.

Responsibilities

• Found and lead a systematic power trading pod across European or US power markets, owning strategy, risk and team build-out.
• Define pod’s strategy and research agenda, hire and manage researchers, developers, and junior traders, retain ownership of P&L and risk.
• Provide capital, technology, and infrastructure to support the pod and generate alpha.
