Job summary

Point72 is seeking an experienced trader to oversee the team’s trading process, contribute to core activities, and develop new areas of expertise in systematic trading. This role focuses on front-line leadership within a quantitative portfolio team.

Responsibilities include overseeing international equities and macro systematic trading during European hours, executing trades in rates across global OTC markets, and ensuring best execution with liquidity partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of algorithmic trading experience, with systemic macro exposure.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python; knowledge of Tradeweb/Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of international equities and macro systematic trading during European hours.
• Execute trades in rates instruments across global OTC markets.
• Build relationships with liquidity partners for best execution.
• Monitor portfolio construction, execution, and related processes.
• Assist post-trading analytics and monitor internal algorithms.
