Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior leader to serve as Head of Portfolio Management for EMEA & APAC in Systematic Equity. The role oversees regional teams, aligning regional execution with global frameworks and ensuring strong client engagement and product development.

The position reports to the Chief Investment Officer of Systematic Equity, focusing on governance, risk management, and the evolution of scalable operating models across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years in investment management, preferably systematic or quantitative equity.
• Experience leading teams across EMEA and/or APAC.
• Solid understanding of regional institutional markets and regulations.
• Proven experience in client engagement and product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional portfolio management across EMEA and APAC, ensuring disciplined implementation of strategies.
• Represent Systematic Equity with clients, prospects, and consultants to support business development and retention.
• Identify and develop new Systematic Equity strategies aligned with regional demand and regulatory considerations.
• Oversee risk, compliance, and governance across jurisdictions and regional markets.
• Drive process improvements and operating model harmonization with global teams.
