Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a Head of Supported Housing to drive operational excellence within its Housing & Support department. Based in Manchester, you will lead remote teams, advance safeguarding processes and work closely with senior leaders to strengthen commissioner relationships.

You will champion trauma-informed, strengths-based services while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement across all sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supported Housing management, preferably with homelessness and disadvantage
• Knowledge of housing regulations relevant to supported housing
• Understanding or experience of Strengths-based and Trauma-Informed services

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational effectiveness and continuous improvement of Housing & Support department
• Develop and manage a compliant Safeguarding Framework and process
• Coach and manage remote teams to enhance cohesion and embed THN values
• Collaborate with Director of Housing and Support and Chief Commercial Officer to maintain strong commissioner relationships
• Build a high-performance Housing & Support team that consistently exceeds expectations

We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose-led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities.

We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Are you an experienced Head of Supported Housing, looking to join at an exciting time of growth and be part of an organisation that makes a difference?

About you:

• Proven experience of working within a Supported Housing sector, preferably with people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage
• In depth knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations
• Understanding or experience of delivering Strengths based and Trauma Informed services
• Solution focused approach to delivering results, managing and mitigating risks and managing / resolving challenges.

What you'll be doing:

• Accountable for all aspects of the operational effectiveness and continuous improvement of our Housing & Support (H&S) department
• Accountable for the development and management of a compliant Safeguarding Framework and process
• Manage and coach remote teams within a defined region to enhance cohesive working and embed a behavioural framework underpinned by THN's values
• Working alongside the Director of Housing and Support and Chief Commercial Officer to maintain highly trusting and effective (Provider of Choice) commissioner relationships
• Accountable for the development and management of a high-performance Housing & Support department team which consistently exceeds expectations

What you'll receive:

• Salary - £56,000
