Job summary

EBRD in London seeks an Associate Director, Head of Supply Chain to lead the Bank’s approach to identifying, assessing and managing material environmental, social, operational and reputational risks across project supply chains.

The role ensures effective due diligence, risk mitigation and engagement across pipelines, supporting consistent application of the ESP and ESRs, in a hybrid London-based environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience appraising and managing complex supply-chain risks.
• Strong knowledge of international supply-chain due diligence standards and good practice.
• Experience with IFI policies (ESR, ESP, Equator Principles) and related frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex policy matters to senior internal and external stakeholders, including Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of supply-chain due diligence frameworks and tools across projects.
• Advise on supplier profiles, regulatory developments, industry practice and project decisions; engage senior management.
• Lead mainstreaming of risk screening, supplier due diligence, and corrective action planning across portfolios.
• Coordinate cross-bank supply-chain working group with ESD, Banking, OCCO and OGC.
• Represent the Bank on supply-chain matters with Boards, clients, lenders and industry bodies.
• Mentor staff, drive continuous improvement, and align processes across teams.
