Job summary

Study Group’s Royal Holloway International Study Centre seeks a Head of STEM to lead academic delivery, strategic direction, and progression targets in partnership with the host university. You will manage staff, ensure quality and compliance, and collaborate with senior colleagues within the Centre.

The role requires full-time working on-site with responsibilities across Foundation, IY1 and PMP, including teaching when needed and supporting junior colleagues to uphold high academic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a postgraduate qualification.
• Experience leading in a complex multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience of HR duties, such as delivering training and taking part in the recruitment process.
• Ability to delegate activities, set deadlines and oversee completion.
• Experience of internal communication and working with international students and stakeholders.
• Experience of data management and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Centre's vision to drive continuous improvement and improve student outcomes.
• Coordinate academic staff resources and recruitment across the ISC.
• Ensure compliance with quality frameworks and progress against CAP.
• Oversee timetables, assessment schedules and delivery; teach up to 10 hours when required.
• Maintain and develop the Centre’s VLE and support cost-conscious delivery.
• Build relationships with partners, agents, sponsors, and the host university.
