Job summary

Study Group in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Academic Lead for the Cardiff International Study Centre. The role coordinates the academic team to ensure student outcomes, quality assurance, and curriculum innovation in collaboration with the University and the Study Group network.

You will report to the Head of STEM, manage staff resources, and drive progression rates while delivering the centre’s teaching and safeguarding responsibilities. This is an On-Site, fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering feedback to others with positive improvement.
• HR duties including recruitment processes.
• Ability to delegate tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience leading internal communications and coordinating teams.
• Experience with data management, interpretation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the academic team to deliver student outcomes.
• Lead on quality assurance and enhancement for the Centre and partner university.
• Oversee timetables, assessment schedules, and staff recruitment.
• Teach up to 20 hours per week across modules within the pathway.
• Develop relationships with Cardiff University and sponsors.
