Head of Software Engineering
London - 4 Days On-site
£120,000 - £160,000 + Equity + Private Healthcare + Unlimited Annual Leave

This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Software Engineering with strong team management experience within a Series A start-up environment. You will play a key role in product development, laying the foundations for future developers to build upon.

This company is a platform designed to simplify the hiring process for businesses and enable individuals to find flexible work opportunities. By connecting businesses with skilled professionals for short-term staffing needs, it optimizes workforce efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, CTO, and Directors to develop a strategic plan for product development. Your responsibilities will include hands-on Flutter and Python mobile app development, as well as leading and mentoring a team of developers. Ensuring project delivery within timeframes and maintaining high quality standards are essential to help the business achieve its targets and aspirations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing high-performance teams within a Series A start-up and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A strong technical background in mobile development is required, with in-depth knowledge of Flutter (Dart) or Python (Django) to support product development and mentor junior staff. Additionally, a good understanding of DevOps principles and AWS is necessary.
