Job summary

Flutter is seeking a Head of Security Operations and Engineering to protect our global services through scalable, AI-enabled security capabilities. You will lead incident response, detection, and platform engineering, driving continuous improvement through automation and threat intelligence.

You will partner with Security Architecture, Threat Intelligence and Engineering to operationalise controls, improve MTTD/MTTR, and scale security across multiple locations in the UK & Ireland.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leader in a fast-paced online/eCommerce organisation.
• Experience building, leading and transforming SOC and security teams.
• Strong cloud security and DevSecOps expertise.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations and Engineering teams securing global services.
• Set and execute Cloud Security Strategy with Technology Operations leadership.
• Collaborate with AWS, Wiz, CrowdStrike, and Splunk to maximise partnerships.
• Explore Agentic AI integration to accelerate detection and response.
• Mentor teams to manage incidents confidently and effectively.
