Job summary

Betfair Ltd is seeking a Head of Security Operations & Engineering to lead the design, build, and operation of scalable security capabilities across global services. You will drive AI-enabled detection, response, and continuous improvement through engineering excellence in a fast-paced online environment.

Role combines real-time defense with long-term capability building, working with Security Architecture, Threat Intelligence, Engagement and Engineering teams to mature the security posture

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior technology leadership role within a fast-paced online/eCommerce organisation.
• Proven track record of building, leading and transforming Security Operations and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, automation and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations and Engineering teams securing global services.
• Set and execute Cloud Security Strategy in collaboration with Technology Operations leadership.
• Collaborate with AWS, Wiz, CrowdStrike and other vendors to maximize value.
• Develop AI-enabled detection and response capabilities to drive rapid analysis and response.
• Mentor teams to handle incidents and improve security processes.
