Job summary

Stuart Road Primary Academy, part of Reach South Academy Trust, is recruiting a permanent full-time Head of School to lead the school and build on its trusted community ethos. The role carries strategic and operational responsibility for improvement, teaching and safeguarding, working alongside the Regional Director and Trust leaders.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Experience in leading school improvement and safeguarding is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with governors, Trust leaders and regional staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to inspire staff, pupils and the wider community.
• Drive school improvement and raise outcomes for all children.
• Lead and develop the team through coaching and professional development.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are exemplary.
• Foster partnerships with parents, governors, and external agencies.
• Strategically develop the academy with regional and trust leaders.
