Job summary

Stuart Road Primary Academy, part of Reach South Academy Trust, is recruiting a permanent full-time Head of School to lead the school and build on its trusted community ethos. The role carries strategic and operational responsibility for improvement, teaching and safeguarding, working alongside the Regional Director and Trust leaders.

Following a successful Ofsted inspection in January 2026, the post offers opportunities for career progression and development, with competitive salary and TPS

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Experience in leading school improvement and safeguarding is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with governors, Trust leaders and regional staff.

The post carries strategic and operational responsibility for school improvement, teaching and learning, and safeguarding, working alongside the Regional Director and Trust leaders. Following a successful Ofsted inspection in January 2026, the school has a community ethos that the role builds on. Visa sponsorship is not available and the post is to start as soon as possible.
