TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a Head of School for a small independent school in Wolverhampton. The role is permanent and full-time, working 08:30-17:00, with responsibilities including staff development, curriculum delivery across KS3/KS4, teaching and learning, and regulatory compliance within the school environment.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject with QTS/QTLS (NPQH desirable), and bring strong SEMH/SEN knowledge along with a proactive, creative

• Proven educational leadership experience at senior level (Head of Department/SLT) or Headteacher.
• Strong knowledge of SEMH/SEN and alternative provision landscape.
• Experience improving teaching and learning across core subjects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff development and curriculum delivery for KS3/KS4.
• Lead teaching and learning, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and local authorities.
• Provide proactive leadership across the wider school environment.
