Job summary

Harrow College is seeking a strategic Head of School for Foundation Learning to lead learners with mild to complex needs, ensuring inclusive, high-quality provision and outstanding outcomes.

Reporting to the Director – Foundation, you will manage a team across full-time and part-time programmes, drive teaching, learning and assessment, and align curricula with local priorities and national reforms. Interviews w/c 19 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification with a full teaching qualification (Level 5)
• Experience leading High Needs teams in FE
• Experience developing SEND teaching/learning within quality frameworks

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Foundation learners
• Lead a team across full-time and part-time programmes
• Oversee curriculum planning, development and QA
• Align programmes with local skills priorities and national reforms
• Strengthen transition links with stakeholders
