Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group is seeking an experienced and inspirational Head of Foundation Learning to lead and develop our Foundation Learning provision across the College Group. This role focuses on SEND and inclusive education to drive outstanding learner outcomes, with responsibility for shaping curriculum and leading dedicated teams.

Qualifications

• Significant teaching experience in Further Education (Foundation Learning/SEND).
• Experience leading curriculum teams and inclusive provision.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, funding and QA processes.
• Ability to use data to drive performance and improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Foundation Learning across the college group.
• Lead curriculum development, quality improvement and learner performance.
• Develop partnerships with local authorities, employers, schools and communities.
• Oversee King's Trust Team Programme at John Ruskin College and related activities.
