Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group is seeking an experienced Head of Foundation Learning to lead and develop our Foundation Learning provision across the College Group. This role focuses on SEND provision, curriculum quality and building strong partnerships with local authorities, employers and schools.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, drive improvement, and ensure outstanding learner outcomes for diverse learning needs within a forward-thinking FE environment.

Qualifications

• Significant FE teaching experience in Foundation Learning/SEND.
• Experience leading curriculum teams and developing inclusive provision.
• Strong data literacy to drive performance improvements.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Foundation Learning across the College Group.
• Drive quality improvement and learner performance (attendance, retention, progression).
• Lead curriculum development and inclusive provision.
• Build partnerships with local authorities, employers and schools.
• Oversee King's Trust Team Programme at John Ruskin College.
