This role offers £55,000–£65,000 base with performance bonuses and wider benefits, and a seat on the Senior Leadership Team to influence the business.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the sales function, setting clear priorities and driving commercial performance.
• Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across existing and potential markets.
• Strengthening long‑term customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and increase customer value.
• Leading, coaching and developing the existing team, bringing both functions together to support business growth.
• Developing and delivering a commercial strategy aligned with the wider business objectives.
• Improving sales processes, CRM utilisation, pipeline management, forecasting and conversion rates.
• Analysing performance to identify new markets and opportunities for growth.
• Building strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical and commercial requirements and developing appropriate solutions.
• Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Production and Finance to ensure customer requirements can be delivered effectively.
• Providing commercial insight and contributing to wider business decisions as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
• The business is embracing AI and emerging technology, exploring how these tools can improve sales processes and customer engagement.
