HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) seeks a bold, strategic leader to head the Risk and Intelligence Service (RIS). As Director of RIS you will unite data, analytics, intelligence and risk management to strengthen compliance across the tax system.

You will oversee 3,500 colleagues, drive transformation with automation and AI, shape compliance strategy, and build partnerships across government and internationally to close the tax gap and protect vital revenues.

Formación

• An outstanding strategic and operational leader with a strong track record of leading large, complex organisations through significant change.
• Experience of large-scale operations and working in complex, risk-led environments.
• Ability to lead and challenge specialist teams; not required to be a technical specialist.
• Strong strategic judgement and ability to build high-performing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Risk and Intelligence Service (RIS) comprising over 3,500 colleagues delivering risk, intelligence, analytical and data services.
• Drive transformation using data, analytics, automation and AI to improve compliance outcomes and productivity.
• Shape HMRC's compliance strategy and approach to closing the tax gap; build partnerships across government, law enforcement and internationally.
• As a senior leader, help steer organisational capability and collaborate across boundaries.
