The GCB4 Head of Risk position is based within HSBC's Commercial Banking Equipment Finance Team (HEF).
HSBC Equipment Finance is a leading asset finance provider in the UK, supporting funding for capital expenditures including heavy commercial vehicles, buses, plant, machinery, and expanding into emerging asset classes like technology assets and renewables/alternative fuels (e.g., Hydrogen).
Collaborating closely with HSBC Coverage, Sector, and Sustainable Finance teams, HEF plays a key role in HSBC’s growth in sustainable financing.
The role emphasizes responsible lending aligned with bank objectives, requiring the display of appropriate behaviors and effective stakeholder collaboration.
This role is hybrid, with Birmingham as the preferred location.
