Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Head of Risk & Governance for its Retail & Group Customer Operations Risk function. The role drives risk, conduct, regulatory and control improvements across Collections & Recoveries and Specialist Support, delivering the strategy through risk expertise and leadership of a matrix and direct team.

The successful candidate will be part of the Retail Risk Leadership Team, focusing on first line risk across the business and aligning with customers’ outcomes and Consumer Duty.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in risk, governance and regulatory risk management.
• Strong understanding of consumer duty and customer experience implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the first line risk team across Collections & Recoveries and Specialist Customer Support.
• Provide risk expertise on conduct, regulatory and operational risk and maintain risk profiles.
