Newbury Building Society is seeking a strategic Senior Leader to head the digital savings sales and distribution strategy. You will lead teams across branches and online channels, balancing commercial growth with excellent customer outcomes.

You’ll influence senior stakeholders, shape savings initiatives, and drive performance while nurturing community partnerships. A strong leadership track record in retail financial services is essential.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for leading their digital savings sales and distribution strategy and teams across their branch network and online channels, ensuring strong commercial performance alongside exceptional customer outcomes. Working closely with Executive colleagues, you'll play a key role in shaping the Society's savings strategy, driving sustainable balance growth, strengthening their community presence and delivering a seamless customer experience across every channel. What you'll be doing

• Leading the delivery of savings strategy, driving acquisition, retention and balance growth across branch and online channels.
• Developing high-performing teams by coaching, supporting and empowering leaders across their branch network.
• Using customer insight, market intelligence and performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for continuous improvement.
• Working collaboratively with Product, Marketing, Operations and Finance to deliver a compelling and competitive savings proposition.
• Driving commercial performance while ensuring outstanding customer outcomes and service standards.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key third-party suppliers and community partners.

• Experience leading savings growth across multi channels, including digital
• Senior leadership experience within retail financial services
• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth, customer retention and business performance
• Experience leading multi-site teams through change and continuous improvement
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret MI and translate insight into business action
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
