Job summary

TSSI is seeking a Head of HSQE in London to set strategic direction and take overall responsibility for health, safety, quality and environmental performance across the business. You will lead the HSQE function, embed a strong safety culture from board level to the workface, and advise the senior leadership team.

The role requires senior-level experience in rail/underground safety-critical environments, NEBOSH Diploma and Chartered IOSH, with proven leadership of HSQE teams and a track record of

Qualifications

• Senior-level HSQE experience in rail/underground safety-critical environments.
• Experience with Network Rail and TfL/LU standards and assurance.
• NEBOSH Diploma and CMIOSH (or working towards); knowledge of CDM 2015 and RIDDOR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the HSQE strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead and develop HSQE teams; mentor managers and inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE laws, RAMS reviews, and safety management on site.
• Oversee ISO 45001/14001/9001 certification and client audits.
• Report HSQE performance to the board and manage supplier prequalification.
