Job summary

Accelero in Cardiff area is seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead and evolve its quality strategy across a complex, multi-site environment. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery to drive operational excellence.

You will own the QMS, lead QA/QC teams, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, audits, and supplier and customer quality across products and processes, shaping the organisation's quality culture.

Qualifications

• Proven senior quality leadership experience within a highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading audit activity and maintaining inspection readiness.
• Demonstrable success driving continuous improvement and operational quality performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability across multi-site operations.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.
• Knowledge of ISO frameworks and MDSAP is highly desirable.

Working with a manufacturing business seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead and evolve its company-wide quality strategy across a complex, multi-site environment.

This is a senior leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, maintaining robust compliance standards, and embedding a proactive quality culture across the organisation.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), lead multi-site quality teams, and ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations and audit requirements.

You will play a key role in shaping quality strategy, improving business performance, and supporting product and process excellence across the full lifecycle.
