Job summary

NedGraphics, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to own the QA function at a senior level. You will lead a team of five QA engineers, drive a modern automation-first approach, and partner with VP Engineering and the R&D team to raise quality across the product portfolio.

This fully remote role invites candidates in the EU/UK and focuses on building a high-performing QA function that embraces AI-assisted testing, expands automation, and delivers measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or managing a QA team, ideally building or transforming a QA function from the ground up.
• Demonstrated experience building or executing QA strategy, not just following one; able to set direction.
• Hands-on background in software testing; a player-coach role.
• Solid experience testing native desktop applications.
• Knowledge of at least one test automation framework for UI desktop apps such as WinAppDriver or Appium.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for test automation.
• Ability to integrate the automation framework into AI-enabled build flows with tooling like Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication skills to influence engineers, PMs and senior stakeholders.
• Experience working across time zones with a distributed team; leadership and development of people.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the QA strategy across NedGraphics products, setting the standard for quality.
• Lead a transformation to automation-first, AI-enabled QA with a credible roadmap.
• Build a quality-focused culture within the team and across engineering.
• Set standards, processes, and quality gates for releases; collaborate with engineering and product managers to integrate QA.
• Manage performance and career development for a team of 5 QA engineers.
• Expand automation coverage across the product suite and reduce manual regression.
