Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance on an interim six-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately; however, the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period. The working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.

The range of duties includes:

1. Leading the Repairs, Planned, and Compliance functions for a leading Housing Association
2. Supporting the incumbent Compliance Manager, particularly with M+E policies
3. Contributing to the overall improvement of the property services function
4. Attending contractor meetings and ensuring value for money
5. Adopting a profit/loss approach, streamlining services while maintaining high standards

Experience and skills required:

• Experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E; must have delivered a cost-efficient and effective Repairs & Maintenance Service
• Experience working within Social Housing is essential
• Stakeholder and senior management liaison experience
• Proven track record in developing and implementing M&E policies and procedures
