Job summary

Langham Recruitment is recruiting for a Head of Projects to lead the project portfolio in automotive technology at Snetterton. You will oversee delivery of customer-facing simulator projects and internal R&D, guiding a small team of Project Engineers and ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

As a senior leader, you will coordinate with Business Development, Technical, Operations and Finance, driving resource planning, governance and continuous improvement to support scalable growth.

• Influence stakeholders, resolve competing priorities and proactively manage project issues.
• Manage the project delivery relationship with our customers regarding scope control, delivery schedule, customer dependencies, and customer satisfaction.
• Review and improve project management processes, systems and reporting to increase efficiency, consistency and visibility.
• Identify opportunities to simplify ways of working, strengthen governance and improve cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure processes and systems evolve to support business growth, increasing project complexity and future requirements.

Head of Projects | Snetterton | Automotive Technology

We're currently working with our client, Ansible Motion, as the look to hire a Head of Projects to join the senior leadership team to help deliver innovative engineering projects in the automotive industry. The Head of Projects is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), responsible for the overall delivery and performance of the company's project portfolio, including customer-facing driving simulator projects and internal R&D projects. The role combines hands-on leadership of key projects with management and development of a small team Project Engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Working closely with Business Development, Technical, Operations & Finance, the Head of Projects will ensure effective resource planning, strong customer relationships and alignment with wider business priorities. They will also lead the continuous improvement of project processes, systems and ways of working to ensure the business can scale effectively as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery
