Job summary

Railpen Limited is seeking a Project Manager Lead in London with hybrid working arrangements. You will own and develop the Project Management capability across Change & Transformation, line-managing Project Managers, coaching and guiding professional standards and development.

You’ll work with Portfolio Managers, PMO and Resource Planning to deploy capability, ensure governance and promote best practice across a broad change portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities across different career stages.
• Track record implementing project management standards and frameworks.
• Experience with governance, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience building communities of practice within large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Line-manage and develop Project Managers and support their progression.
• Own and improve the Project Management capability, standards and methodologies.
• Build a thriving Project Management community across C&T.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, PMO and Resource Planning on deployment and succession.
• Coach Project Managers on planning, governance, risk, and delivery leadership.
• Use feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
