IMI Thompson Valves in Poole, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager for an on-site role. You will head the planning team, manage end-to-end scheduling from order release through to finished production, and align capacity with customer delivery needs.

You will drive improvements in planning processes, inventory levels and WIP, while delivering reliable schedules and KPI improvements in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualificações

• Experience leading production planning teams in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record improving planning processes and delivery performance.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to drive improvements.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience implementing, developing and managing ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Production Planning team and scheduling activities.
• Take ownership of end-to-end planning from order release to completion.
• Review and improve planning policies, procedures and reporting.
• Maintain planning data across ERP, MRP and scheduling systems.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to meet delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Contracts, Purchasing, Engineering and Operations.
