Job summary

IMI plc is seeking a skilled Project Planner to oversee contract/order planning and delivery. You will act as the main point of contact for customers and the business, ensuring project plans, costs and schedules are maintained within budget.

As part of IMI Thompson Valves, you will monitor margins, report issues, and drive timely delivery across multiple stakeholders, including engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules and cost controls.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and generating regular project status reports.

Responsibilities

• Review order documentation for cost, margin and schedule compliance.
• Produce and maintain detailed project plans and delivery schedules.
• Provide regular status reports to customers and internal stakeholders; escalate issues when needed.
• Coordinate with engineering and production to resolve technical queries and drive on-time delivery.
• Lead project meetings, capture minutes and ensure actions are tracked to closure.
