Job summary

Credit Technologies, a UK fintech, seeks a hands-on Head of Product to own the product function and customer experience. You will set the product direction, collaborate with engineering and the CTO, and lead AI-enabled consumer journeys for Credit Angel and MoneyGuru.

You will shape strategy, drive discovery, prioritize delivery, and ensure commercially successful outcomes while maintaining regulatory awareness in a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital product management with end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in consumer credit, lending, credit bureau or fintech.
• Experience with credit eligibility, pre-approval, soft-search or decisioning.
• Experience leading a product workstream or cross-functional programme.
• Proven track record of launching customer-facing digital products with measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to align product and engineering around priorities and requirements.
• Hands-on with AI-enabled, conversational or highly personalised products.
• Strong commercial judgement to improve conversion, engagement, retention or revenue.
• Ability to operate across senior stakeholders from strategy to delivery.
• Experience in regulated, data-sensitive or high-governance environments.
• Experience in scale-up or entrepreneurial settings.
• Experience with user feedback, A/B testing and customer experience.
• Hands-on AI prototyping and translating AI into products.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the product vision, strategy and prioritised roadmap.
• Translate business objectives into clear product outcomes and delivery priorities.
• Lead and develop the existing product function with defined roles and governance.
• Introduce a consistent product operating model covering discovery, validation, prioritisation, requirements, delivery, launch and optimisation.
• Provide clear recommendations and challenge when priorities lack definition.
• Act as senior product counterpart to CTO, aligning product with engineering and business.
• Ensure validated requirements with measurable outcomes and a transparent roadmap.
• Balance pace, customer value, commercial return and regulatory requirements.
• Own AI layer direction across MoneyGuru, Credit Angel and future propositions.
• Define controls for AI quality including explainability, guardrails and monitoring.
