HSCALE seeks a commercially driven Head of Purchasing to lead procurement across its development and construction projects within a growing European data centre portfolio.

Role involves sourcing, negotiations, supplier governance, and reporting, with close collaboration across Development, Construction, Power, PMO, Finance, Legal and Operations. Travel across EMEA is expected in a fast-paced, investor-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of purchasing/procurement experience from Data Center development environments.
• Experience managing purchasing for large-scale projects or multi-site programmes.
• Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, contract governance and purchasing controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead purchasing activities across development, construction, and infrastructure projects within HSCALE portfolio.
• Manage sourcing, tendering, supplier selection, and purchasing processes for equipment, materials, and services.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, framework agreements, and supplier contracts.
• Support procurement planning aligned to programme schedules and milestones.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and service providers across EMEA.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality standards, and contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with Construction, Development, Finance and Legal to align purchasing with objectives.
• Support budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and purchasing reporting.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement across purchasing systems, processes, and governance.
