Job summary

TPP Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead a high-value function within an established organisation. You will shape strategy, drive compliance and deliver cost savings across the procurement lifecycle.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement, you will lead and develop the procurement team, manage tenders, enhance governance, and ensure best‑practice compliance while building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• MCIPS qualified (essential).
• Significant procurement leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, governance and tendering.
• Proven track record of delivering savings and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement team, including line management of a Procurement Officer.
• Manage procurement and tendering activities.
• Enhance procurement policies, procedures and governance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and best practice.
• Deliver cost savings and value-for-money improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Provide expert procurement advice to stakeholders.

TPP is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead and develop its procurement function.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement, you will lead the procurement function, ensuring compliant, effective and value-focused procurement practices across the organisation.
