Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Head of Processing to reengineer the finance function and set the strategy for Central Finance Operations. The role will lift the bonnet on current processes and drive improvements across the function, with responsibility for the UK regions.

Based at our client's Manchester Head Office, the Head of Processing will lead a large Processing/Billings team, manage performance, and deliver change across Processing and Automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Build a roadmap for the progression of teams under your remit (Banking / Payments / Billings / Reconciliation).
• Assess and report risk, compliance, key performance and management information.
• Manage and review the service delivery and performance of the relevant teams.
• Proven experience of the management of a large Processing / Billings Team.
• Proven track record at a Senior Management Level.
• Examples of your impact across Change Management and Process Improvements.
• Experience of motivating / growing and developing Teams.
• Project experience ideally across Processing and / or Automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for Central Finance Operations and lift up the bonnet on current processes.
• Own and drive performance KPIs across the processing function.
• Ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement across UK regions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to implement change and automation initiatives.
• Mentor and develop managers and their teams.
• Oversee risk, compliance and governance within the function.
• Manage cross-functional projects related to processing and automation.

We are extremely pleased to be working on this vacancy, we're partnering with one of our long standing clients in Manchester that are looking to bring someone in to reengineer the working processes, increase efficiencies across the finance function and transform the internal way of working! Based at our Clients Manchester Head Office - your role will also have responsibility across the UK Regions.

As Head of Processing you will be responsible for the operational machine that is behind the Processing Function. You will need to be a character who will set and deliver strategy for Central Finance Operations - you will need to be prepared to 'lift up the bonnet' on current processes.

What will the Head of Processing need?

• An initial Interview with - Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd
• 1st Interview with the Client - this will be with the current role holder and a Senior Director at their Offices in Manchester
• 2nd Interview will also be at the Head Office with the Head of Finance - EMEA and a HR Representative
