Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Head of Planning to lead the Planning function for a £700m business. The role is based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, with UK travel to sites as required.

The successful candidate will set strategic objectives for Planning and ensure a consistent, high-quality planning service across projects.

Qualifications

• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, along with relevant professional certifications
• Prior significant experience in a Senior Planning Management role
• Excellent communicator
• Team Player and Leader
• Business & Commercial Awareness
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of construction technology
• Able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Planning to join VolkerFitzpatrick and lead the entire Planning function for a 700m business. This role will be based out of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, with travel across the UK to sites, as required.

The successful candidate will lead and determine the strategic objectives of the Planning function, whilst ensuring a consistent and high-quality planning service is delivered.
