Job summary

Standard Life plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior leader for People Technology platforms to own stability, resilience and service performance, including Oracle HCM payroll‑critical services, integrations and security.

You will report to the Head of People Technology & Digital Excellence and lead the Platform team, collaborating with Product, IT, Finance and Risk to deliver secure, scalable digital tooling and improved colleague outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience across enterprise HR platforms or similar business applications.
• Deep Oracle Cloud HCM or equivalent HCM expertise.
• Proven accountability for production services and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle, health and technical integrity of People Technology platforms, including Oracle HCM and payroll‑critical services.
• Ensure service availability, resilience and incident management, including major incidents and root‑cause remediation.
• Maintain continuity for payroll‑critical services and manage day‑to‑day MSP activities with partners.
• Govern changes, releases, patches, regression assurance and operational readiness.
• Lead and develop the Platform team, building capability and reducing dependency risks.
