About The Team And The Role

We are seeking a seasoned, data-driven, and commercially minded leader to join eBay's Connectivity Partner Manager team as Head of Partners Development - EU. This critical leadership role involves driving growth with our strategic managed partners—companies that provide services integrating into eBay's platform, such as listing tools.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and collaborating across functions to achieve ambitious growth targets. Familiarity with APIs and platform integration is beneficial to support scalable solutions.

This role includes direct line management responsibilities and reports to the Head of Partnerships & Greater China Advertising.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

  • Drive partner growth strategy at the EU level, overseeing go-to-market strategies, outreach, negotiations, product integrations, and execution.
  • Shape and manage partner co-marketing and enablement initiatives through joint business agreements, including webinars, case studies, events, and promotions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—product & engineering, marketing, legal, analytics, and operations—to implement strategies and ensure the success of managed partners across Europe.
  • Set and maintain high standards for measurable performance, aligning with company goals, OKRs, SMART goals, and growing GMV and ad revenue through managed partnerships.
  • Represent the team at major industry and eBay events, such as eBay Open.
  • Engage with senior partners across European markets to foster collaboration and regional alignment.
  • Coach and develop direct reports while championing our global seller development culture.
What You Will Bring
  • Leadership experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels, including global marketing teams and agency partners.
  • Experience in commerce, retail, consumer goods, or internet services.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are an advantage.
