Job summary

Havas Market Manchester is seeking a Paid Performance Director to lead strategy and drive innovative paid search solutions for a portfolio of UK retailers. You will own the search product, oversee delivery, and act as the senior client contact across stakeholders.

You will lead a team of Paid Performance Managers and Executives, shape budgets, guide cross‑channel integration, and contribute to new business pitches.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience within a Performance remit, ideally within an agency environment.
• Proven experience with large budgets (£1 million+) in paid search.
• Experience leading client relationships and delivering against budgets.
• Certification across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics and SA360.
• Knowledge of competitor tools (SimilarWeb, Adthena, SEMRush).
• Excellent communication and ability to present to clients.
• Line management experience with multiple direct reports.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation for clients' paid search.
• Manage portfolio of UK retailers with multi-million budgets.
• Develop team and provide mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-channel teams for integrated campaigns.
• Lead new business research and pitches.
