Pitlochry Festival Theatre is seeking a Head of Operations and Health & Safety to keep the venue running safely, smoothly and on budget. You will coordinate IT provision, oversee health and safety compliance, and work with contractors across an 11-acre campus including a 538-seat Auditorium and a Studio.

The role is hands-on with diverse responsibilities, requiring strong organisation, budgeting, and stakeholder management. Salary £42,000–£45,000, full-time, on-site.

Qualifikationen

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety training.
• Experience applying risk assessments, contractor safety and building compliance.
• Experience managing buildings, facilities and maintenance in a public-facing venue.
• Experience supervising contractors and keeping compliance records.
• Ability to manage operational budgets and value contracts.
• Coordinate external IT support and routine service issues.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and maintain buildings and grounds to ensure safety and fitness for use.
• Manage relationships with neighbours and stakeholders for site upkeep.
• Apply data protection requirements within facilities and IT remit; escalate GDPR matters.
• Escalate major outages or data security concerns through appropriate channels.
• Identify repairs, renewals and investment needs with costed options for approval.
• Support Sustainability Strategy through estate, utilities, procurement and maintenance decisions.
