Job summary

Performance Networks is looking for an experienced Operations & Project Delivery Manager to lead customer project delivery, service operations and engineering resource planning, based in Nottingham with a hybrid working pattern.

This hands-on leadership role is designed to shape how the business operates as it grows, with a focus on ownership, continuous improvement and driving scalable change across delivery teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong technical project and service-delivery experience across multiple concurrent customer projects.
• Experience leading technical or engineering teams and coordinating field resources.
• Proven ability to improve operational functions and drive measurable improvements.
• Ability to use KPIs to drive decisions and changes.
• Willingness to challenge established ways and implement changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple customer projects from handover through to completion, acceptance and billing readiness.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, scope changes and customer communications.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and customer stakeholders, taking control when delivery is at risk.
• Own service-desk performance, operational escalations and service improvement.
• Lead and develop the operational delivery team, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountability.
• Plan engineering capacity across projects, support and planned work.
• Maintain commercial control of project costs, variations, WIP and invoicing readiness.
• Improve handovers, workflows, systems, reporting, documentation and automation.
• Identify recurring problems, address root causes and turn lessons learned into practical change.
• Build repeatable, scalable processes that reduce delays, rework and dependency on individual people.
