This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you a qualified clinical professional with experience of leading an Occupational Health service? Are you committed to providing a high performing and professional Occupational Health service? Are you a leader that can build and maintain effective relationships at a senior level to support and influence service standards?

Reporting to the Head of Health and Wellbeing, you will have responsibility for the delivery of a professional in-house occupational health service, maintaining robust systems to gather intelligence data (e.g. Cority). You will develop and build on initiatives such as pre-registration support for medical and healthcare students, pre-employment health screening and other proactive health services. You will ensure the provision of a timely, high quality, effective and efficient service and provide support, advice and assistance to staff and users of the service.

You will understand the occupational health landscape and bring your own ideas about how a large, complex organisation can best support with key themes such a neurodiversity, policy development and emerging role of AI.
