One recent success involved a patient whose recovery was enhanced by a walking football initiative. A passionate football fan before injury, the patient struggled to re-engage with life. An Occupational Therapist explored options, connecting with the York City FC Foundation for walking football sessions nearby. The outcome? The patient experienced renewed motivation, improved balance, and reconnected with his community. This exemplifies the impact you can make daily.
As Lead Occupational Therapist, your clinical expertise will shape our rehabilitation approach, focusing on individualised care that respects each person’s values, abilities, and goals. You’ll lead by example, foster professional growth, and promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and compassion.
