Job summary

Alcedo Selection Limited is seeking a senior, hands-on Head of Sales/New Business to drive growth in architectural signage for major projects. The role combines office work with client meetings and site visits, supported by an estimating/technical team to craft winning proposals.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven signage sales track record, experience selling into the built environment, and strong CRM discipline to manage relationships and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Signage, Display or Graphics sales, with a focus on New Business Development.
• Experience selling into the built environment with architectural signage and related construction services/products.
• Comfortable with field meetings and site visits while maintaining office-driven CRM.
• Strong commercial skills: qualification, negotiation, margin awareness.
• Highly organized with consistent CRM follow-up.

Responsibilities

• New business development through building and executing a new business plan across the target sectors.
• Identify target accounts and create a structured outreach plan, generate meetings via outbound activity, networking, referrals, and existing sector relationships.
• Lead discovery meetings, site visits, and stakeholder presentations.
• Work with estimating/technical support to produce accurate, winnable proposals.
• Maintain clean CRM/pipeline with clear next steps and realistic close dates.
• Ensure smooth handover into delivery to protect customer experience and repeat work.
