Job summary

Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL) seeks a senior leader to drive operational management across its network estate. You will oversee service delivery, governance, and supplier performance to ensure outstanding customer experiences, safety, and compliance.

The role requires collaboration with shareholders and partners, and will be based primarily in Reading with hybrid working arrangements. The Head of Operational Management will shape strategy, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational service functions within complex technology, telecoms, infrastructure or service organisations.
• Strong knowledge of incident, change, problem, event, availability and service continuity management.
• Proven ability to manage supplier ecosystems and drive performance improvements.
• Experience influencing senior leadership, shareholders and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Central Operational Services delivery across MBNL.
• Develop and maintain operational services strategy, plans, KPIs and performance framework.
• Own incident, event, problem, change and service continuity management activities.
• Assure supplier performance and contractual delivery across operational services.
• Lead site access, permitting, governance, safety and compliance standards.
• Oversee spares management, licensing and asset optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor and improve network performance and address service risks.
