Qualifications

• Significant experience negotiating complex framework and supplier contracts.
• Strong supplier and contract management within a commercial environment.
• Good understanding of contract law and commercial risk management.
• Experience leading commercial teams and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of a defined supplier portfolio and strategy.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with policies and governance.
• Lead supplier sourcing, tendering, evaluation and contract award activities.
• Negotiate framework agreements, contract variations and terms.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation and optimisation.
• Manage supplier performance against contracts and KPIs.
• Develop commercial reports, business cases, negotiation strategies and risk assessments.
• Lead contract governance and support dispute resolution.
