Job description

What we are looking for:

  • To implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and knowledge-rich curriculum in Technology for pupils across all key stages in the Secondary phase.
  • To support the leadership of Music in the Primary phase (R-KS2).
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher and Form Tutor.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of achievement and maximising pupil attainment.
  • To share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • To be committed to the safeguarding of children.
  • To actively participate in curriculum planning and delivery, providing specific expertise and guidance in Music, and leading on delivery of key aspects related to the subject.
  • To be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students within the Music program.
  • To liaise with Subject Team Leader colleagues across the Trust to support strategic development, share good practice, and plan collaborative activities.
  • To assist the Head of Faculty in leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, promote student achievement, and maintain good behaviour and discipline.
