Job summary

Gama Aviation is seeking a Head of MRO Procurement to lead the procurement and materials function across MRO operations. You will shape strategy, build supplier relationships and drive best-value outcomes to ensure critical aircraft parts availability.

The role requires strong leadership in aviation/engineering environments, with experience in regulated supply chains and maintenance procurement. Based at Staverton or Bournemouth in the UK, with a hybrid working setup possible.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement and supply chain experience within aviation, engineering or a complex technical environment.
• Proven leadership of procurement, supply chain or materials teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with cost, value and risk focus.
• Experience with Part 145, Part M and Part 21 requirements advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement and materials teams for MRO operations.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned to business goals and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with major suppliers and OEMs.
• Drive supplier performance, risk management and KPI reporting.
• Support ERP systems development and cross-functional processes.
