Job Responsibilities:

• Lead MFL across the school – KS3 to KS5
• Develop and manage the progress of a wide MFL curriculum
• Support staff growth and training
• Lead on enrichment activities – exchange programmes, school trips, etc.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and share best practices with MFL colleagues
• Report to the SLT
• Contribute to school development plans
• Implement strategies to improve attainment
• Monitor pupil progress and evaluate progress plans

Person Specification:

• Must have QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience as a teacher or leader in MFL
• Ability to lead on academic and enrichment elements of MFL curriculum
• High standards and expectations
• Understanding of the new curriculum demands
