Location:

Southwark, Central London – Hybrid Working with Travel around England and Wales

Salary:

Up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits such as 26 days annual leave, pension, life insurance, and flexible working.

Job Description:

Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in engaging members within similar organizations such as Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, or Membership Organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention
  • Building strong relationships with members at a senior level
  • Identifying and recruiting prospective members across the UK
  • Communicating the benefits of membership effectively
  • Managing membership applications, renewals, and related processes
  • Designing and executing member satisfaction surveys and feedback mechanisms
  • Collaborating with the team to promote activities and resources for members

Person Specification:

  • Significant experience in growing and managing membership services
  • Experience with CRM systems and administrative process improvements
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at executive level
