Up to £50,000, depending on experience, plus benefits including 26 days annual leave, pension, life insurance, and flexible working.

Job Description:

Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience engaging members within similar organizations such as Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, or Not-for-Profit organizations.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention.
• Building relationships with members at a senior level and identifying prospective members.
• Creating and executing growth strategies targeting prospective members across the UK.
• Communicating membership benefits effectively and responding to inquiries.
• Enhancing member experience through new processes and systems.
• Managing membership applications, renewals, and related administrative tasks.
• Promoting activities and resources to members through various channels.
• Designing and conducting annual membership surveys to assess satisfaction and areas for improvement.

Person Specification:

• Significant experience in growing and managing membership services in relevant organizations.
• Strong strategic planning, business development, and CRM management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at the executive level.
• Ability to work closely with the executive team and network effectively across the organization.
